Who are these people who want me to call them on craigslist?!?

Every time I post a fricken add I get like 5 people email me with a generic message - here is an exact example taken from the newest recieved email - "Heya remember to call me 014-8917". I have also gotten ones like this - "Hey, you should call me *insert random number*". It looks like one of those scammers where they ask "is this item still available?" but I can't be too sure, they don't specify the item they are emailing me about but then again they give you their number.... are these just scam bots or are they actually interested in buying things????
