Trouble with PowerPoint! Help!?

I'm on 2011 Powerpoint. I have a slide where there are pictures moving about the slide in a swirling pattern. That's alright until I try to insert the audio. It works but it doesn't play until after all the images have stopped moving!!!! Basically, I want it to run throughout the entire slide!! Grateful for any help!! :)
