Molecular Biology Lab Question HELP!?

Starting with 0.5nanograms of a plasmid containing a 2KB insert in the 3KB pBluescript vector in a 50ul reaction. Using the reverse and forward primers, how many cycles will it take to make enough DNA to see on the gel (~50 nanograms in 5ul)?
